    UT to play Gonzaga

SPOKANE, Wash. - KHQ has learned that the Gonzaga Bulldogs will play the Tennessee Volunteers in next season's 'Battle in Seattle' match up.

The Vols will make the trip to the Emerald City to face the Zags in a nationally televised game on December 29th. The Vols made it to the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament last season and lost to Ohio State by one point. They finished 24-11.

Gonzaga should be better next year, Micah Downs will be able to play a whole season and Matt Bouldin will have a year under his belt.

JP Prince is the other guy. Smith found out last week that he's immediately eligible and won't have to sit. Prince isn't eligible to play until the winter semester starts. Prince transferred from AZ. Mega's a big AZ fan and wasn't too high on him. From everything I've heard from him playing this summer he's bulked up and is looking really good. Maybe a change of scenery is what he needed.

I need to get back into the loop. I hadn't heard about Smith's situation.

Hopefully they can mesh. Wish Dane had another four years of eligibility.

    Re: UT to play Gonzaga

The Smith thing happened last week. They said he's looked amazing this summer. Ramar has bulked up considerably and is shooting the 3 much better. Chism has been a lot more physical and is doing well on boards. The only negative I've heard is about Crews. He still has an attitude problem that can lead to lots of technicals.

I can deal with that as long as he plays like Ron Slay.

    Re: UT to play Gonzaga

The camp thing that UT is doing has former NBA players, UT's current players, other college players, and some top high school players. About everyone I've heard from said that Slay is a monster. They've said that most nights he's still the best player on the floor.
